Telehealth // California
Ages 15–40 / Specialized Psychotherapy
I am Aneesa Vaez-Iravani, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #142079) based in San Jose. My practice is built on the belief that healing is a collaborative, relational process.
I specialize in working with teens and adults navigating the complexities of trauma, neurodivergence, and identity. My goal is to move beyond "coping" and toward a state of genuine alignment and resilience.
My work is informed by my background in digital art and a deep reverence for the natural world. I believe that creativity and clinical precision aren't mutually exclusive—they are both necessary for true growth.
When I’m not in session, I am often found by the ocean, writing poetry, or finding balance through the quiet discipline of digital design. I bring this same sense of curiosity and calm into our therapeutic space.
Shifting the narrative from "deficit" to "difference." I provide specialized support for Autistic and ADHD individuals (Ages 15+), focusing on sensory safety and executive function empowerment.
A dedicated, safe sanctuary for exploring gender and sexual identity. We navigate the unique stressors of being queer or trans in the modern world with pride and clinical insight.
Utilizing evidence-based modalities like CBT and DBT to help you manage academic stress, life transitions, and the lingering effects of high-stress environments.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a physiological approach to healing trauma. By stimulating the brain’s natural processing system, we take the "sting" out of painful memories.
I integrate EMDR for those who feel traditional talk therapy has reached its limit. We don't just talk about the past; we resolve it.
A brief, 15-minute call to ensure we are a good fit. We’ll discuss your goals and answer any logistical questions about telehealth in California.
In our first few sessions, we’ll map out your history and current challenges, building the safety and trust required for deeper work.
Whether using EMDR or traditional modalities, we begin the active work of reprocessing trauma and building new, healthier narratives.
